The tee-tote is an awesome, multi-purpose, eco-fashion statement. It is a handmade shirt made from renewable and/or organic fabrics that transforms into a bag you can use rather than going the plastic route.
It's a tee and a tote! It was designed by Molly de Vries of Ambatalia, who had this to say about her creation:
"I created tee-totes to be an inspiring force in replacing plastic and paper bags. Consider cloth shopping bags as a positive life style choice. Tee-tote was created for people who love fashion and also love and want to take care of our earth. More and more I see people bringing their own cloth bags to the market yet I find it rare seeing shoppers buying clothes or gifts with reusable bags in our neighborhood shopping centers, streets and malls.
Tee-tote is my best effort towards this end. I hope you have fun with this and see what kind of changes you can make in simple ways each day. I have found taking challenges, whether it's not using my car that week, taking a plastic bag tally or even just bringing a cup with me in my purse for a coffee or tea out. I notice a few changes in my habits can bring BIG awareness. It's pretty awesome. I hope my idea of a great looking, handmade, sustainably sourced, classic teeshirt that turns into a shopping bag inspires you and your friends to rethink how you shop."

With the recent Fall 2011 fashion weeks taking place around the world, impeccable style was on display from Paris and Milan to New York and London. Almost as impressive as the stuff on the runways, the streets around of these cities have a bevy of savvy fashionistas and fashionistos wearing amazing ensembles, accessories, and beauty looks. And who better to capture this walking art than my personal fave, photographer Tommy Ton? A huge trend that Tommy snapped was the bauble-y bracelet bonanza. Wearing one bracelet is a thing of the past. What's in now is wearing multiple bracelets on one arm. Of course, they all should work and pair well with each other, but pairing different types adds depth to your accessorized wrist.
Speaking of more bang(le) for your buck - have you tried the Eye Love You Too Palette? The colors are perfectly on trend for spring and summer, but are timeless as well. (Super hot fashionista tip: match your eye color to the colors in your baubles!)
For this edition of What Would Josie Wear? I present to you the lovely Miss Taunia Fox. Not only does Taunia work full time at Josie Maran Cosmetics, she is a full time student at FIDM (the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) here in Los Angeles. Needless to say, Taunia's got fashion and beauty on lock.
With Josie so busy - Taunia was gracious enough to step in for a long overdue edition of What Would Josie Wear? Behold the Taunia Edition...
Trend alert! Spring and summer 2011 fashion has neon colors splashed all over - but this time in a fashion-forward, sophisticated approach. This isn't your '80s neon wardrobe, ladies. Highlighter colors are the perfect way to brighten your sartorial outlook, whether you want to be funky and fun during the day or splashy and chic at night.
Want to go all out? Try lighting up the room at a dinner party with the Marc Jacobs' gown. Or maybe you're a little more conservative with your fashion but secretly want to sport bold color? Try something like Christopher Kane's silhouette - it's perfect to display the glowing trend while maintaing your cool.
Of course, an outfit with a punch of color like this requires a polished application of makeup. Go for more neutral tones on the eyes with the shades Bunny, Campfire and Chirp from the Eye Love You Too Palette. For the lips, a nude hue like the Argan Natural Volume Lip Gloss in Daring will add a little sparkle, but keep most of the attention on your attire.
