Hello beauties! I'd like to introduce you to Jessica Camper, Head of Education here at Josie Maran Cosmetics. Jessica is an expert on all things JMC and has so many great makeup tips and techniques. So, starting today, we'll be starting a new feature - Jessica's Tips! First up - some great Magic Marker Lip and Cheek Stain advice!
1. If you're at Sephora, try the product on your lips! You can do this by dabbing a small amount on a sponge tip eyeshadow applicator, or gloss wand. If you want to soften the shade: blot the lips or cheeks lightly after each application- before the product is dry. If you want dramatic color: apply the color and allow to fully dry, then add a second layer for boldness. This will insure that you pick the perfect shade, and understand the application is quite different than a lipstick.
2. How to make your Magic Marker last! Make sure the cap is on tight, when it's closed you will hear a "snap" sound. If it is not closed it may dry out, as it is a stain. This product should be applied to clean dry skin. If you want extra color always add lipstick, or lip gloss on top of the stain. When using it as a blush always apply it to the cheeks first. If you want to use it as a cheek wash: add a few dabs to the palm of your clean dry hand, mix with a few drops of Agran Primer Mist. Apply mixture to the cheeks with finger tips or a brush.
3. How to clean your Magic Markers. You should not need to clean your Markers, by nature they will not harbor bacteria. However - if the pen is used after moisturizers, lipsticks, or blush it may not work as well. If you need to, gently clean the tip with alcohol to remove any residue.
*The Ultimate "China Doll Cheek!!!!!"
Apply a few "dabs" in your desired shade to the palm of your hand, then spray a small amount of Argan Primer Mist over it and mix!!! You get a beautiful "stain liquid" that glides over the cheeks creating sheer color with a glass like finish! You can also use this trick on the eye area for a nude face with a hint if color. Try it with a stipple, concealer or flat foundation brush! Works super with finger tip application as well.

you're just too!
